Senator French To Attend Alaska Family Action’s “Town Hall” on Gay Rights
ANCHORAGE – Senator Hollis French (D-Anchorage), a strong advocate for equal rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Alaskans and the sponsor of legislation to reverse Alaska’s ban on gay marriage, plans to attend the upcoming “Town Hall” on gay rights issues that is being offered by the Alaska Family Action this evening at East High School.
The program purports to provide the public with the “Christian response to the emerging sexual revolution” addressing questions such as what to say when your boss asks you if you think homosexuals can go to heaven.
“I am always interested to see how Alaskan’s legal rights are being addressed in public forums,” Senator French said, “and I am hoping to see that the Christian response to human rights is to embrace them – for all Alaskans, regardless of their sexual orientation.”
