Senator Wielechowski and Reps. Spohnholz and LeDoux to Host East Side Virtual Town Hall Meeting
JUNEAU – With less than two weeks remaining in the 29th legislative session, Senator Bill Wielechowski (D-Anchorage), Representative Ivy Spohnholz (D-Anchorage), and Representative Gabrielle LeDoux (R-Anchorage) invite all East Side Anchorage and JBER residents to participate in our first ever virtual Town Hall meeting on Thursday, April 7, from 6:30-7:30pm.
The last two weeks of the session are notoriously busy, but we want to stay in touch with constituents. We will be broadcasting live to East Anchorage from the Capitol to take questions and hear thoughts and opinions about bills under consideration, and the final days of the legislative session.
Constituents can participate three ways:
1) Head to the Anchorage LIO at 716 W 4th Ave., downtown.
2) Email comments or questions to Sen.Bill.Wielechowski@akleg.gov, Rep.LeDoux@akleg.gov, or Rep.Ivy.Spohnholz@akleg.gov. Or tweet to @Wielechowski, or @RepLeDoux1.
3) Call 1-844-586-9085.
The meeting can also be viewed via live stream at http://w3.legis.state.ak.us/#tab5
“This session has been challenging and hectic so far,” said Sen. Wielechowski. “Things are still moving very quickly and we’ll be passing quite a bit of legislation before it’s over. I look forward as always to input from my constituents at home.”
