Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Anchorage Caucus Annual public hearing is happening this Saturday, February 27th, from 11am to 2pm at the Assembly Chamber in the Loussac Library. The Anchorage Caucus is made up of representatives and senators who represent the Anchorage, Girdwood, and Eagle River area. The public hearing is a good opportunity to share your thoughts and concerns with Anchorage legislators and speak about the budget, the Legislative Office Building, or other issues that are important to Alaskans.

Municipal Election is Approaching
The Anchorage Municipal Election is near so make sure you are up to date.
Many people might not have their voter registration up to date, or may need to change the address. This can be done in person with a voter registrar or online. Simply click on the following link and fill out this form.
If you want to print out the regular voter application and turn it in to the Division of Elections, you can print out the application.
If you’re not sure if you’re registered, you can check your status.
The last day you can register to vote in order to be eligible for the April 5 Anchorage election is March 6! Be sure to tell your friends, family, and neighbors!
Arctic Blvd Road Project Update
On Tuesday, March 1st, residents of our district will have two opportunities to learn the latest on a road construction project at Arctic Boulevard between Tudor and 36th. The goal of the project is to construct new safety features and to help bring the road into compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. It will also revamp the street lighting and landscaping. For those interested, the meetings will be from noon to 2 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM the same night at Moose Lodge, 4211 Arctic Boulevard.
